CREATION: Father Abraham
(Study 1-F)

Even after the earth had received its first great warning with the flood, and despite the covenant that Yah established with Noah and his descendants, the earth was soon filled again with evil. The Tower of Babel, as we examined in the last study, was a monument to idolatry; to the worship of self, and both the result and cause of "Babylon," great confusion.

Mankind seemed to so easily fall into error and deception that Christ lamented over His once flawless creation, "And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though He bear long with them? I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall He find faith on the earth?" (Luke 18:7,8) Nevertheless, in every generation, there have been those willing to stand up valiantly for that which is good and true. It is these faithful souls that Yah seeks out, for whom to fulfill His promises. "For the eyes of Yahweh run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew Himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward Him." (2Ch 16:9a)

In this study, we will look at the life of such a man - one whose name is still symbolic of faith for every religion based upon the Judeo-Christian Scriptures, one who has come to be known as the father of us all.
