ISRAEL THE EARTHLY KINGDOM: King Solomon
(Study 3-D)

It is amazing how much damage a single bad decision can inflict upon an individual. Our study of Israel's second king ends with him in tears over the loss of a rebellious son. Perhaps in his story we can see a parallel of our Almighty Father's sorrows concerning his firstborn angel.

But the record of Israel's kingdom is only just beginning. Even out of a dark situation, Yah can bring a blessing; one of David's sons is the next to ascend to the throne of the priestly nation. In many ways, he is a greater ruler than his father was, and in many ways, the triumphs and even the failures of his life are a source of wisdom for us, as we seek a life of consistent, glorious victory.
