ISRAEL THE EARTHLY KINGDOM: The Tribes Divided
(Study 3-E)

How history repeats itself! In the book of Judges, we see a record of Israel's repeated stumbling into the evils of idolatry, and intermarriage with heathen nations around them. Time and time again, Yah removed His protection of the erring populace, so that they could see the results of their transgression and repent.

Not at any time did He leave them alone, but He allowed His wayward children to reap some of the natural effects of their sins, that they could take wisdom from the calamities which befell them. But even now, after they had established a kingdom, one of the wisest rulers the planet has ever known became a partaker of these bitter spiritual crimes. Once again, Yah removed some of His grace and protection from His beloved people, and the result this time was a generations-long civil war.
